Dr. Christina Kovalik NMD, LAc.
Dr. Kovalik, The Vitality Doctor, is a Scottsdale Naturopathic Medical Doctor, Acupuncturist and Aesthetic-Anti-aging Specialist. As a family care practitioner, she has a special interest optimizing hormone imbalance and longevity medicine of men and women. Many of her patients are treated for fatigue, pain, infertility, PMS, endometriosis, menstrual irregularities, pregnancy & postpartum support, hormone imbalance for men and women, menopause and gynecology. She was the Director of AMCH Fertility Clinic in Phoenix in 2008.
Family medicine and optimizing hormones naturally became her passion to promote a healthy life full of vitality. Dr. Kovalik loves to educate and empower families to make healthier lifestyle choices that are lasting. Wellness exams for infants, children and women are also offered at her practice. She also devoted almost 2 years to a local Family Practice seeing refugee patients in 2009.
Aesthetics-Anti-aging Treatments
Dr. Kovalik branched out to expand her practice by offering natural pain management treatments with prolotherapy and Neural prolotherapy as well as natural ways to slow the aging process. While optimizing the skin’s internal systems with naturopathic aesthetic medicine, she also offers Aesthetic-Anti aging services such as injectables like Restylane, Perlane and Dysport. Another exciting treatment that Dr. Kovalik’s now offers is TempSure® Envi Skin Tightening, to lift, tighten and reduce wrinkles without surgery or downtime. TempSure® Envi is an FDA approved radio frequency device for skin tightening and lifting of the face. In addition, she offers her female patients TempSure® Vitalia Vaginal Tightening and Rejuvenation. This gentle radio frequency based treatment which enables non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation by delivering therapeutic heat to internal and external vaginal tissue.
Education and Training
Dr. Christina Kovalik graduated from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ, and the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture in Phoenix, AZ. Subsequently, she completed an externship assisting an OB/Gyn for almost 2 years and understands the importance of integrating medicine for various women’s issues. She also wrote her Master’s Thesis on Acupuncture and Female Infertility and published articles in the local NDNR naturopathic review journal. Next, she studied prolotherapy with the American Academy of Musculoskeletal Medicine. Additionally, she has training in Restorative Medicine and Endocrinology to treat hormone imbalances associated with fatigue, thyroid disease, menopause and low vitamin D.
She is a certified bio-Te hormone optimization practitioner to give patients a safe treatment for bio-identical pellet therapy.

Dr. Beth Martin is a Licensed Naturopathic Physician (NMD) and practices functional medicine with an emphasis on regenerative therapy, peptide therapy, IV therapy, hormone replacement and anti- aging medicine.

Susan Brown is an ASU graduate with a BS in Quantitative Business Analysis. She is married to Daryl, has 2 grown sons and has lived in Scottsdale for 37 years. She has been a patient coordinator / office manager since May of 2009. Susan has worked for Dr. Kovalik, The Vitality Doctor, since February of 2013. When she is not working, Susan enjoys reading, lunching with friends, going to the gym and traveling.
