Microneedling therapy also referred to as Collagen Induction Therapy, has evolved from its predecessor the “derm roller” rooted in Chinese medicine to achieve many facial benefits.

Microneedling is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation procedure that involves the use of an oscillating MD needle pen. The mechanical action of the pen allows the needles to puncture the skin at specific depths producing new collagen and elastin in the papillary dermis. Due to the high RPMs of the AcuMicro derm pen, the top layer of the skin is parted without being damaged, allowing for deep absorption of the Hyaluronic Acid and other serums used to address specific skin needs. Microneedling improves skin tone, texture, and firmness, while also reducing scars, pore size, and stretch marks. Monthly treatment is recommended to achieve desired results.
