These days, there are so many options to assist in decreasing the effects of aging, and we can reap the benefits of many available procedures. It can be overwhelming to know where to start. The Vitality Doctor can make it easy by creating a facial/body rejuvenation plan tailored to your aesthetic needs.
Here are some options I use in my practice that have been showing fantastic results. Many treatments can be stacked for ultimate results. We make it a priority to follow a facial rejuvenation plan customized for you.
Options for Facial / Body Rejuvenation:
1. RF – Radiofrequency Treatments (Tempsure or Pelleve)
This RF technology heats the dermal layer to the correct temperature that induces collagen production, lifts, tightens, and plumps the skin. It is best for full face, neck, arms, belly, and thighs. After a series of 3–6 monthly treatments, maintenance is recommended quarterly or at least once yearly. It feels like a hot rock massage and has no downtime.
2. Dysport / Botox
Botulism toxin is injected into facial muscles to temporarily minimize frown lines, crow’s feet, forehead wrinkles, and small lines around the mouth/lips. It also acts as a preventative measure when used quarterly.
3. Fillers
Hyaluronic acid is injected into areas of volume loss in the aging face. Best for nasolabial folds, around the mouth, cheeks, lips, and tear troughs. Most fillers last 6–9 months depending on the type and treatment area.
4. PDO Threads
A minimally invasive treatment to lift the face and neck without surgery. PDO (polydioxanone) absorbable sutures have been used since 1911 in surgical fields and recently in aesthetics to lift and stimulate collagen.
MINT threads are FDA-cleared for lifting the jowls, eyebrows, mid/lower face, neck, and even arms or knees. These threads are placed just under the skin and dissolve over 6–9 months, while collagen-building effects may last 12–18 months. Minimal downtime and bruising.
5. Microneedling with Red Light
Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure using an oscillating needle pen that creates micro-punctures in the skin. This induces collagen and elastin production and enhances serum absorption. It improves skin tone, texture, discoloration, pore size, stretch marks, and tightens the skin.
A series of 4–6 treatments is typically recommended monthly for the face/neck and bimonthly for the body or scalp depending on the response.
It can also improve acne scars, reduce stretch marks, and promote hair growth (often outperforming Rogaine in studies).
- Red light therapy is often combined with microneedling to improve skin quality and collagen regeneration. It also benefits fine lines, sun damage, inflammation, fat reduction, pain relief, wound healing, and hair growth.
6. Cleansing Internal Systems
Eat a clean diet, drink plenty of water, and support detox pathways to help your skin glow. Pay attention to ingredients in skincare and personal products, as many contain toxins. Quality sleep also rejuvenates your skin.
7. Get Your Hormones Checked
Aging-related hormone imbalances can make skin thinner and less supple. Blood tests and hormone optimization treatments can help maintain youthful-looking skin.
