Cupping as well as acupuncture has been used in China for thousands of years. It has been becoming more and more popular in the US and peaking interest by many with athletes and actors adorning the cupping marks (hickies). There are a number of ways to utilize cupping such as sliding cupping or leaving them on one spot. Some practitioners can leave cupping marks (Hickies) when left stationary on one spot for 5+ minutes.
